An Era ago...

I am so sorry for neglecting this nightwish page.. I have been very busy doing stuff this year.. anyway there are alot to tell you about our lovely band Nightwish!

We all know that they are releasing a new album in 2011!
Tuomas arranged this summer a "Summer Camp" where they were going to rehearse the new songs he has been written. The camp lastet for a few weeks, and the bandmembers had a good time according to the diary they had on their website.

The status for the album now, is that everything is recorded, exept the orchestral part that will happen in London in February 2011. After that is done, they will record the rest of the album, and then...Then the new album will come to us!!...in September....


This summer we were blessed this the birth of two new Nightwish-members!! Jukka got a daughter named Lara, and Anette got a boy named Nemo (Yes in honor to Tuomas)
We send all our blessings and hugs to the two families.

TAROT

Well, If have not noticed, Marco Hietalas band has come with a new album called Gravity of Light!

I have listened to the album and I find it AMAZING!!! If you like Nightwish, Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica or any other rock/metal bands you will love these guys!!

They have just released a music video to the single "I Walk Forever"
They went to Kairo and shoot it there so it is very much worth to watch!!



Tarot is also on tour this year.

On the Nightwish front, I've read that Tuomas is finished with all the songs to the new Nightwish album, so we have to just sit  and wait for it;)

Well, Tonight was the big finale in Kuorosota where Marco Hietala was in the final...
Unfortantly, he did not win...This is very sad.

You can only live Once...

Since there are nothing new going on in the band besides the news I've already postet, I though I could write about my feelings for the album "Once"

The album "Once" Is one of the albums I respect the most. If I feel down or something, I can always count on this album to make me feel better. The song Dark Chest of Wonders is a song that breaks my way of thinking. And then I just sit and listen to the music. The time just floats away, and I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster because the music is very up and down. To put it in easy words..

Nemo. Well Nemo is just beautiful. The song about that you feel like no-one. I know that feeling to much and this song describes my feelings perfectly.

Ghost Love Score. Wow. There are no words in our language that deserves to be used to describe this song. Tuomas Holopainen must be one of the best composers...He is in the line with Mozart, Grieg and Beethoven. This song is a masterpiece that I believe the world do not deserv to hear. I know this is strong words, but this is what I mean about it.

This is only few of the songs Nightwish has on this CD. I love all the songs on that album. You know, the fact that music can affect so much of your life. I ask you.. ..Do the music really appeal to your feeling so much that it changes your life?

I can tell you. Nightwish certantly changed my life.

The Nightwish family will get extended!!

In my previous post, I wrote that Anette is not going to make a soloalbum...Well this had it's reason.

Anette wrote on her blog a few days ago that she had kepa a secret from us a while now...And she felt is was the right time to announce now that she is HAVING A BABY!!!!!!:D

This is so big news!! I'm so happy for her and her family:D

And for all of you, Nightwish is still going to release the new album...Nothing is interfering with anything...Anette said that probably they're not going to tour until 2011 sometime anyway.
And those of you who is wondering about what Tuomas is feeling about this...He is very supportive and caring.
He wants all the best for Anette and the child. Anette is very clear on this on her blog.

New Nightwish album..

Yes, Tuomas just stated that the new Nightwish album is due to come out SEPTEMBER 2011!!!!!
This will be a magical time for us who loves them.
Me, personally, can't wait until I have my hands on the new album. I'm going to have that album as soon as it gets in the stores. That album will be sackred to me. As all of my albums are.

There has also been speculations about a new world tour the summer 2012. Wether it happens or not, Is a matter I guess we will find out when the album is out on the marked.

Something that is bothering me...They filmed the final show in Helsinki, but has saud that there will not be a DVD from that concert. I think at least we should get acess to the videofiles from that wondeful concert. Since they're not going to give out som sort of DVD....
What do you think about that?

In Finland these days, Marco has a choir in the TV-show called "Clash of the Choirs" His choir has performed two songs this far in the competition. " Paradise City" from Guns and Roses and "We are the campions" from Queen. At this stage in the competition, people has clearly pointed them out as a favorite choir. I myself has seen the performances on Youtube, and ther choir is really good! I guess that Marco has really pushed these people to their limit. Because this sounds just like a professional choir that has been around forever.



Anette has just said that she is not going to give out a soloalbum after all. She wanted to spend more time with the family these months she has a break from Nightwish.
I think this is a little sad, because I feel people should hear her sing other songs than Nightwish songs, because she has a very special voice. Too bad some people in this world don't hear it. Because everyone is comparing her with Tarja. I think those people is not thinking longer than their own nose, If they're comparing. Nightwish has gone their way. We as fans should support them no matter what. People who claim they are true Nightwish fans, and not liking Anette, should not call themselves true Nightwish fans. And if it is so bad? Stop listening to them. You all have the ability to choose what you want to hear. Just stop mocking others who prefers both singers..or better Prefers the BAND!.....

I know that was quite a pep talk, but It was something I had to get off my chest. And now it is done:)
